Mum, I'm bored!

'I'm bored!' Another set of words that have the power to make or break you as a parent. As school holidays approach I am hearing so much about plans to 'entertain' their children and keep them from getting bored. Now, oddly, I have not yet had this issue with my children other than the months before they learned to crawl and were unable to access toys for themselves. For this reason I find myself asking the question, "Why do parents feel they have to entertain their children?"
