Yes, Startwrite was my first software purchase for our home education environment. Why? After seeing many resources in all learning domains we were simply convinced by the free trial, all that we found we could do with it and how much easier it made things for us.

Karl is a 'whole words' learner and does not respond well to phonics. We noticed that the 'say, copy, cover, copy, say' approach works well with him so being able to quickly and easily prepare copy work for his sight words has made life much, much easier for us.

I must say that we got a bit more than the single use out of it before we purchased it also. You see, I have a dual boot laptop which allowed me to install it on my Windows partition but then jump to Linux without 'shutting down'. By taking this method I got several months use before I decided it was worth the investment. So trust me, this product is good!
